My Sad Attempts at Getting a Job... Any Advice?
DisbeliefAnyways, so here are my many job attempts:
1. Dresser Hill, last summer. Filed an application, never heard back, showed up and learned they weren't hiring.
2. IParty, last summer. Was told to wait until Halloween. Was ignored when showing up in September.
3. Friendly's, last summer. Was told I a. Look to young, and b. They're looking for 18&older.
4. Dot's, this spring. Was told they're currently not hiring... (And girl most likely through out my application afterwords, since she was giving me a death-glare the whole time...)
5. Charlton Public Library, this spring. Job was given to a friend.
6. Girl Scout Camp, this spring. Job was given to some other girl.
7. CVS, last Wednesday. They have a help wanted sign up. But when I talked to the assistant manager, he said they aren't currently hiring...
8. Stop&Shop, last Friday. Will be contacting manager Monday to see if they're even hiring...
Sad, no? Guess I just can't pass myself off as 18... Maybe I'll succeed when I'm 25 or something...
